Finally, after a 2-year break due to the coronavirus, we were able to welcome 3 girls and 1 boy back to the Jäkel family on Thursday 28 April 2022.
For the young people, this day is usually their first contact with working life and gives them the opportunity to get a taste of different areas. On this day, they were given an insight into the areas of design, toolmaking, work preparation, quality assurance, maintenance and purchasing.
In some areas, they were also allowed to try their hand at craftwork. At the end of the day, the girls and boys were able to take home a name badge made with their own hands as a souvenir in addition to the many impressions they had gained.
We hope that the girls and boys had an interesting and enjoyable insight today and that they will remember the day fondly. Perhaps we'll see you again for another work placement or even an apprenticeship! We look forward to seeing you again. 😍
